Step 1: Research

In the final paragraph of your covering letter you should indicate how excited you are to schedule an in-person interview, and tell your reader your phone number and a time to get in touch. Yes, you?ve already listed your phone number at the top of the cover letter, and your resume, but there?s no harm in making it as accessible as possible for your busy reader.

Step 7: Closing Phrase
