Compensation: 2000-2300 / month

Job Description:
This position at Basin Radio Network is currently in a formative stage. That is, a position which can be expected to evolve constantly over a long period of time. This is for two reasons. First, that 2011 is considered by the company to be a launch year requiring new content and sales tools, and, second, because of surprisingly rapid and continuing developments in digital media.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

1. Reports directly to the Operations Manager. Since the cluster website is essentially considered a fifth media offered by BRN, content is by the approval of the OM.
2. With regards to the sales department, the DOD is responsible for development of projects to be sold which broadly may be considered sales inventory such as banner ads, dynamic leads, or video. Also included are monthly, seasonal or ongoing promotions and new fixtures to be sponsored.
3. The DOD is expected to meet weekly with both the OM and GSM separately or jointly to discuss content development and sales initiatives.

Education Required:
College degree preferred.

Experience Required:
Web and Graphic Design experience a must. One year minimum experience.

Other Requirements:
A. Work immediately with the OM to provide the structure of a Loyal Listener Club for Fox Country. This includes enabling the website to accept listener sign-ups, the appropriate directions for sign-ups and on-air promotion of the Club.
B. Develop training for the News Director so that local news content is posted on the site by that department.
C. Upgrade station pages for KAML, KDDV and KGWY-FM.
D. Work with the GSM on immediate development of video product available for sale to new and existing clients.
