Intense and Unique Women's Fitness Program in Roseville Helping ...

07. Jun, 2012

Roseville, like the rest of the nation, has a growing concern for the health of our children.? Childhood obesity tripled in the past 30 years and lawmakers are struggling with ways to make healthier food and exercise more accessible to children.

Denise Rhyne, owner/trainer of Kaia F.I.T. Roseville, believes that women are great leaders in their household and in their community.? Building a healthier community of women in Sacramento is the way to build a healthier community of children.

Kaia F.I.T. has been offering women-specific classes in the greater Roseville area since May of 2011. The program has been tremendously successful and has grown to include an amazing family of women who are achieving what once thought was beyond possible.

?Kaia F.I.T. Roseville will begin offering their traditional programs and more out of their new stand alone gym in Roseville starting June 4. The group classes meet partly indoors and partly outdoors to enjoy Placer County?s many beautiful parks and trails using a series of diverse exercises.? Kaia focuses on functional training, using mostly body weight and movement to get your body to function like it did when you were a kid.

?No day is the same.? No minute is the same,? says Rhyne.? ?Your body doesn?t know what it is going to do next.?

The unexpected shift to new exercise throughout the hour-long program keeps the participant?s mind engaged and works muscle groups throughout the entire body; building muscle, burning calories, without burning out.? Rhyne calls it ?muscle confusion? and it leads to spectacular results ? toned muscles and slimmed down figures.? In one six week program, Kaia F.I.T. says the average participant will lose between 10 and 12 pounds, 5-10% body fat and will drop one to two sizes.

Kaia F.I.T. offers six week BRIKs (boot camps) where fitness and nutritional goals are closely tracked.? BRIKs are building blocks that help clients reach their fitness goals and are followed by eight week maintenance F.I.T. Sessions where a routine of healthy food and exercise helps to create good habits that last a lifetime.

Kaia F.I.T. Roseville will offer free 30 minute trial classes on Saturday, June 16th at their Grand Opening.? They will be hosting a ribbon cutting with the Roseville Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday, June 13th at 11:30 as well!

Reservations are not required but Rhyne highly suggests showing up 15-30 minutes before class as she anticipates classes filling up quickly. Kaia will be giving away some great prizes, including a year of Kaia, and will be answering questions regarding Kaia F.I.T., women?s health and fitness.
